Driveway Cleaning Around Kensington's Canyon Lots

Most of the driveways we clean in Kensington sit within a few blocks of Adams Avenue and the Ken Cinema marquee, and a lot of them are original pours from the 1920s craftsman tract that makes up the neighborhood. That older concrete has an open pore structure. A 4000 PSI zero-degree tip will cut a visible groove into it in under three seconds, so we don't run one here.

Why Kensington driveways stain the way they do

The jacarandas along Marlborough Drive and the streets near Kensington Community Park drop blossoms from late May into July. Once the marine layer keeps the concrete damp overnight, those blossoms leave a purple-brown stain that sets into the pores fast. Some of the lots that back up to the canyon between Kensington and Talmadge don't give us truck access within 100 feet of the driveway. That means extra hose and a longer setup, but it doesn't change the price on a standard slab.
